Mission Focus

        Silverbrook UMC is involved in a number of local and international mission projects. 

Silverbrook UMC fully supports the United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR) providing support to relief projects around the world.    As a specific project, Silverbrook provides clothing and other items for the Honduras Project.

Locally Silverbrook UMC is provides support to the local community by providing food year round to the Rising Hope Food Pantry, providing specific food items at Thanksgiving and Christmas for Holiday Food Baskets for the needy.  We also raise money through the Spring BBQ and Craft fair to send needy children to a week at Camp Highroad.     

    The children collected 41 pounds of pasta for Lorton Community Action center last month.  Thank you one and all.
